A Great Hopper not to be missed!

A Great Hopper not to be missed!
These hopper wagons are beautifully detailed and look great on any layout. My only criticism is that there is quite a lot of sideplay on the axles in the bearings which is a bit disconcerting. All my wagons were converted to absolute scale 33mm Scale 7 gauge which was done two ways. First, by turning the wheels and flanges to Scale7 standards and second, by fitting Slaters Scale 7 wagon wheel sets. Both are valid ways of improving these wagons to be fitted with wheels of the absolute correct scale dimensions. If using the existing wheels sets in either O gauge or Scale 7, fitting 2.5mm hole brass washers on each side can solve the excess side play criticism. Just go out and buy them while they are available. Well done Accurascale!

Excellent entry into 7mm

Just bought another two of these models so making up a decent sized train now (I now need to weather a dozen of these!). Build quality, weight and 'feel' of this model set a high bar for others to aspire to.

I do hope more 7mm models will come from Accurascale in the near future - this hopper wagon was an inspired choice as it covered so many years and areas of the rail network - finding similar facets in another prototype is the key (and selecting one not already made by other manufacturers). I'd suggest a bogie tank wagon or a bogie freightliner - both could stretch from early 1980s to 2015 or later I think.

Amazing 🤩

This is number six in my fleet . Please , please , can you produce more 0 gauge wagons and accessories . There is a massive hole in the market in this gauge for modern wagons and engine’s. Who about an 0 gauge 125 !

HUO hopper

Very nice model. The instanter couplings work well. I now have 9 of these. My only issue has been the couplings, the retaining ring sometimes does not allow the coupling shank to fully retract. I have glued a piece of wire in place to stop this.
