JSA Coil Wagons

Having previously ordered an 0 gauge HUO, I knew the quality of Accurascale products. This pair of JSA are simply superb and a very pleased customer. Looking forward to getting these weathered as I'm sure the details, especially around the bogies will really bring these to life. Very tempted on ordering another pair now! I'm sure that the soon-to-arrive Deltic will be to the same quality - I have one of these on pre-order.
With companies like Accurascale pushing the boundaries on recent model railway products, the model railway hobby is extremely fortunate.

A very well detailed and accurate looking model, I was very impressed when I took them out of the box.

The detail on the locking mechanisms for the hoods is impressive and looks more to scale compared to other wagons fitted with such equipment.

Underframe and bogies are equally well detailed and livery crisply applied.

I was concerned over the fragility of the hood sections, but as I'll be flying mine shut it's not a problem.

For anyone modelling steel strains from 1996 to the present day, I would thoroughly recommend these wagons.

Well worth the wait

Brilliantly detailed, decorated and packaged models of an interesting prototype. I almost don't have the heart to weather them!

Features I particularly appreciate are the ease of conversion to EM/P4 (literally a matter of popping the wheelsets out and swapping them) and the perfect level of springing on the buffers, which comes into its own when using 3 link couplings.
