Description

Never before produced in ready-to-run form in any scale, accurascale is excited to reveal the latest addition to its eagerly-anticipated range of 4mm/OO gauge Mk.2 coaching stock, the late-style Mk.2c variant with their characteristic small 'air con'-style toilet windows. Famously designed to be retrofitted with air-conditioning equipment, a modification that never took place, 150 vehicles were built at Litchurch Lane, Derby, in 1969-70 to five designs (out of 250 Mk.2c in total), primarily for the London Midland Region: Tourist Second Open (TSO), Corridor First (FK), Open First (FO), Brake Corridor First (BFK) and Brake Open Second (BSO). In the 1980s four further types were introduced, SK and SO (declassified from first class), Corridor Composite (converted from FK for Scottish Region services) and a mini buffet with trolley space, known as TSO(T). All nine of these versions will feature in our production.

Accurate interiors with characteristic 'winged' headrests, separate metal interior handrails on the brake and corridor vehicles and fully-detailed guard's compartment
Correct height NEM standard coupling sockets with mini tension lock couplers and kinematic close-coupling
Easy conversion to Kadee-compatiable knuckle couplers
Full lighting package, including

'Stay-Alive' capacitor in all coaches

directional lighting with DC or DCC control (Driving Trailer only)

BR Blue MK2 Coach

Wow what a superb model. This BR MK2 Blue and Grey Coach is the best model I have seen in 4mm. The Products packaging is amazing , the box the leaflet on the subject which is so informative. Then you see how detailed this item is and the way its been manufactured to a high level. The detail inside and the boogies are excellent. Smooth wheels as well. Winner 10/10 - Very pleased with it indeed.

Accurascale have nailed it

I have purchased three of the Mk3 coaches to go with my Accurascale Class 55 and they look a treat. I honestly cannot pick fault with any of my Accurascale purchases. Quality and value

Another excellent coach from Accurascale that can only be described as first class. Livery application and detailing are excellent with the added bonus of an interior that is of similar quality. Excellent!!!!

Mk2 c

These are my favourite carriages in my collection they look wonderful and the details are grate the run so well and smooth and the inclusion of magnetic couplings is spot on if I had any criticism it's that the roofs ant magnetic release but I know th ne mk1s are so hopefully this becomes the norm and the cupprlings are a touch fiddly because ore the incredible detail but I'm picking at straws becomes there so good

Fanastic detail

Usual fantastic detail and I think the lights have been set at the perfect brightness. Coach runs perfectly and I like the permanent power from the track rather than batteries which are also selectable with the magnetic wand still
