Upgraded Ultimate Deltic

This second run features some.cosmetic improvements including nose top bolts missing from the first batch. The engine room window glazing also look to have been retooled to properly fit in the bodyside openings, and the new chain arrangements, while fiddly make initial sound/crew fitting and future servicing much easier. A great refinement to an already flagship product.
Can we hope for rotating fans next time round?

Pricing.

After a lengthy wait the model finally arrived just before Christmas. It was everything I expected it to be and I was very pleased with my purchase.
However, there was a slight "sting in the tail". The courier informed me that VAT and other ancilliary charges applied and I therefore owed an additional €45.00.
I thought the original pre-order price included VAT but, apparently, not. I am not sure if Accurascale mentioned that VAT would be in addition but if they did, I missed it.

Great Deltic

Managed to get this loco and I'm not disappointed. Looks fabulous and runs really well also.
It looks just like I remember pulling a set of Virgin Cross Country coaches when it is running on my layout.
