Unveiled in Porterbrook Leasing purple after overhaul at Brush Traction’s Loughborough Works in September 1999, 55016 also controversially received WIPAC light clusters at the same time. Main-line registered, it ran in this condition until it was repainted two-tone green in August 2003.

The Best Model Locomotive I've Ever Owned.

My first time buying an Accurascale Loco, I'm so thrilled with it.

With what you get for the price is astounding to me.

The detail is spot on, The overall look is perfect, Runs around the track so smoothly, All the different lights I can turn on and off is just the best, and the sound quality is great, Sound's just like how a Deltic should to me.

10/10 would buy from Accurascale Again...........Very soon that is :D

Accurascale's Porterbrook Livered Gordon Highlander

Loco arrived promptly and extremely well packaged.

As for customer service, Team accurascale are second to none, I have never dealt with any finer, and Patrick at Team accurascale deserves a special mention for his product knowledge and the courteous and professional manner he showed whilst assisting with the purchase of one of Accurascale’s Porterbrook livered Deltic’s.

The locomotive has not yet been unwrapped but if it is only half as good as Accurascale’s class 37’s then it will be exceptional.

If it is only half as good as Accurascale’s customer service it will be exemplary.

Type 55 Deltic in Portabrook Livery

Presentation box, packing and paperwork all excellent.
When the model is in motion really looks the part, the fitted sound is adequate with plenty of options. Stay alive would have bee nice to have. Disappointingly the loco does not navigate one of the curves on my layout which my Bachman Type 55 does.
The suggested delivery period was massively optimistic, second quarter to end of the forth quarter, Accurascale are not alone in this respect.

All models have a stay alive built in. Ensure your track voltage is at least 14v for it to work. The model will handle radius 2 so that tricky curve sounds tighter or uneven. Worth checking the track! Hope you enjoy your model and happy christmas.

Well worth it

Decided last minute to order a Deltic and although I have never seen one in the flesh, I always liked this variation. On arrival it didn’t disappoint and I’m glad I decided to purchase it. I’ve got a few Accurascale sound locos but the sound in this Deltic was superb. Another brilliant model by Accursacale.
