Ahhh ... sweet memories

Love the Accurascale versions of the Mk 1 coaches - I have vivid memories of travelling on them with my parents when I was a kid when we went to visit my grandparents in Gresford. Beautifully detailed ... I'm no expert but the rendition is quite amazing. The one disconcerting thing was opening the packs to be greeted by fine bits of tiny black plastic pieces floating around in the sleeve. Turned out one of those pieces was a step which I promptly lost before I could stick it back in place. No biggie but the same thing happened today when I opened my newly delivered diesel loco - more mysterious bits of fine black plastic! These models are fantastic and I am totally blown away not only by Accurascale's commitment to producing fine art pieces but also to the technological and assembly skills of the technicians at the Chinese production plants. Great job ... congratulations and thank you to all involved.

Great coach, value for money.

Disappointing

Lighting faulty on arrival, didn't work at all on DCC.

Went back for repair. On return, the lighting was still faulty. Accurascale wanted me to return them a second time for repair after rejecting my request to supply coaches that were fully working.

The coaches went back to Accurascale, but for a refund and not repair.

A week later am still waiting for the refund.

These coaches were delivered a year late. Accurascale then wanted money long before the coaches arrived from China. They were shipped in a faulty condition and the repair was inadequate. This has been a time-consuming and frustrating experience, making me wonder why I remain a customer of theirs.

I accept that some things can arrive faulty but Accurascale's handling of this has been very poor in my opinion.

Stunning

Excellent model. Great finish, really looks superb. The carriage lighting works well with the wand. Great service and order turnaround time too! Highly recommended. I bought a rake of T, BS & TO, and they are all of the same high quality.

Superb MK1 suburbans!

I received these a week or so ago and they looked amazing, the intricate underframes and the detailed interiors are a credit to accurascale. Took them to the model club this week and they ran superbly - and received a lot of admiration! Brilliant purchase - Thank you!

Perfection

Definitely worth the wait. Very well detailed inside and out. The interior almost would be spoilt with the addition of passengers! The lighting equipment is a testament to smart thinking and value over others that require the cost of a chip in each coach. Very well done.
